This post is for all those readers of the blog who consulted me about how to modify the size of the hexagon jacket. We know that if we add more rounds, we can increase the size of the hexagons, but there comes a point where we achieve the desired body size, but the sleeves are too wide , or vice versa, we have the desired width of the sleeves but the jacket is too narrow.

I will show you how, by changing 1 or 3 sides of the hexagon, we can change the shape of the jacket.

Here is the original jacket, without any modification:

Suppose that we want to modify the length of the jacket, the length of the sleeves, the width of the back or front leaving the rest unchanged. To do this you just have to modify one side of the jacket.

Graphically you will find it more clear:

Here you can see the different options. Depending on how you fold the hexagon will be the part of the jacket that you modify:

In the case that want to modify several sides at once, you just have to continue crocheting in 3 of the 6 sides of the hexagon.

This way you can modify the front, back and length at the same time, or the shoulders and sleeves. It depends on how you fold the hexagon to form the jacket.
